Your support makes a difference
The Salvation Army’s International Development Office offers hope and better prospects for the future to more than 300,000 people worldwide. We need your support to achieve this. Without you, we couldn’t help people on the ground to help themselves. On behalf of the Salvation Army and the people it assists, we would like to thank you for your valuable support. As our experience shows, development assistance is demanding but effective!
Become a sponsor, donate or work on an assignment abroad
You can support us in a variety of ways. Would you like to become a Salvation Army sponsor? Or would you rather donate a sum of your choice? Are you thinking of taking on an assignment abroad yourself? Everything is possible. You can find more information on this website.
Becoming a sponsor
The Salvation Army offers a range of themed sponsorships. Whether it’s clean water, knowledge and education in Haiti, children and families, or education worldwide, a sponsorship allows you to offer continuous and sustainable help. Choose an area that is particularly close to your heart. You can decide how much and how often you give.
As a sponsor, you will receive an annual report about the progress that has been made and the objectives that have been met. This means you are kept up to date on the impact your donation is making on the ground.
You can end or modify your themed sponsorship at any time. All you need to do is let us know by phone or email.
Working on an assignment abroad
The Salvation Army’s International Development Office facilitates short-term volunteer work and the deployment of experts in our partner countries. This exchange of knowledge is of considerable value to everyone involved.
We offer a range of locations and options for assignments. You will find all the information you need in the link below. You can also read reports in which people who have taken part in our programme describe their experiences. If you have any questions or are interested in offering your support, please fill in the registration form or contact us directly.
Accept the challenge of a new adventure and help people in need on the ground.
